Product Designer @ Tontine Trust

February 2023 - Now

As the sole designer at Tontine Trust, I’ve been wearing multiple hats to drive the design and user experience of this groundbreaking fintech product. My role involves:

1.

Crafting and creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that simplify the concept of Tontines. This was my first experience designing for a mature audience so accessibility was one of the most important factors when designing the UI and creating the design system.

2.

Creating illustrations and graphics for the marketing and the products, MyTontine and MyTontineLite.

3.

Creating user flows and conducting research, planning upcoming product functionalities and writing feature documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with development teams to bring these services to life.

UX/UI Designer @ Upwork

January 2021 - June 2022

My first starts in design, along with some of my favorite projects come from Upwork. Here are a couple of the best things I’ve learned:

1.

Every client, every project is a new canvas. I’ve had to quickly adapt to different design styles, project scopes, and client feedback. This flexibility has made me a more versatile and adaptable designer.

2.

From clear and concise proposals to effective client interactions, I’ve learned to articulate my ideas clearly and persuasively. I’ve also mastered the art of active listening, which has helped me build strong relationships with clients and deliver projects that exceed expectations.

3.

I’ve developed a knack for prioritizing tasks, breaking down complex projects into manageable chunks, and using time management tools to stay organized. This has not only improved my productivity but also reduced stress and increased job satisfaction.
